MINISTAR sets new standards in miniaturisation – and that opens up unheard-of design possibilities for all kinds of fixtures. Design students from eight European countries exploited these possibilities to the full in using the lamp as a design element of unparalleled flatness and flexibility – and also combined it with a wide variety of materials. Freed from any confines imposed by the market place, these students came up with designs of sparkling purity, surprising compactness and startling audacity.
