Basic lighting
Light creates a solid base
Basic lighting (or general lighting) means the uniform lighting in a room without incorporating any special visual tasks at individual places or room areas. Basic lighting ensures that the architecture, objects and people in the room are visible. It provides overview and enables orientation.
The basic lighting should be glare-free, even and as economical as possible, and therefore installed with the right light sources and lamps. Sufficient basic lighting can be provided, for example, with add-on lamps, spotlights and lights on cable and rod systems or with an arrangement of wall lights. The most varied energy saving lamps from OSRAM, such as OSRAM DULUX EL LONGLIFE CLASSIC A 20 W or OSRAM DULUX EL CONCENTRA R80 23 W for concentrated directional light, can be used according to the various rooms, lights and requirements.
